Akili Chanya Initiative Tanzania (ACIT) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to developing and implementing innovative approaches to address health, particularly mental health, and basic education for affected members of communities in Tanzania. Our goal is to raise awareness and provide responsive support to individuals facing these challenges, enabling them to improve their overall well-being and contribute positively to their families, communities, and the nation.
At ACIT, we recognize the importance of mental health as foundational to living a productive and fulfilling life.
